POSITIVE TRAIN CONTROL IMPLEMENTATION
Bison Rail Systems provides field surveys of existing signal locations on the Amtrak Hudson and Springfield Lines to determine rack space availability, relay contact availability, energy buss capacity and terminal block availability and battery load readings and capacity.
On an ongoing basis, Bison Rail Systems provides installation support to Amtrak forces working on the Hudson Line.
Bison Rail Systems developed field test procedures used for testing of the wayside and control portion of the PTC project.
On an ongoing basis Bison Rail Systems is conducting testing of the PTC system, making modifications where necessary and implementing software upgrades to vital processors.
Bison Rail Systems ongoing duties includes PTC design review, PTC Test Procedure development, installation support for Amtrak field forces with an emphasis on WIU wiring and relay installation and wiring, PTC system testing and PTC technical training.
