MBTA – North Side ATC Implementation
The MBTA awarded a project to Hitachi Rail STS to design and implement a federally mandated signal control system to enhance safe rail operations.
Bison Rail was hired by Hitachi Rail STS to manage and execute the Testing and Commissioning portion of the project. Bison was responsible for the management of all day-to-day activities regarding testing and commissioning. Qualified signal personnel performed post-installation verification checks, signal system pre-testing, wayside device validation and technical support during the system cut over.
